The Elizabeth Avenue Group Practice was started in 1950 and has been providing quality healthcare to the people of Islington ever since then. We moved to our current purpose-built premises in 1986.

We provide a full range of GP healthcare services and pride ourselves on being a GP surgery that offers first-rate, progressive and up-to-date healthcare, whilst maintaining a friendly and family-orientated approach.

The practice consistently scores highly on local and national GP surgery performance indicators, and receives a very positive response on our annual patient survey.

• Same day access for all urgent medical problems
• Early morning and evening appointments for patients who cannot easily attend during the day
• Telephone appointments with a GP or nurse for problems that do not need a face-to-face consultation
• Text message reminders for all appointments
• Online appointment booking and repeat prescriptions ordering
• A wide range of clinics and services including GP clinics, nurse clinics, vaccinations, baby clinics, travel clinics, sexual health services, counselling and psychology, alcohol support, stop smoking clinics, dietician and citizen’s advice

Visiting the practice is easy; we are within walking distance of a number of train stations and bus-stops, and there is ample parking available on nearby streets (on a meter during the working day). Disabled access to the surgery building is provided and there is good space for children’s prams and buggies.
